Dr Stephen Jefferies (m) MB, ChB (1980)
Qualified from Liverpool University in 1980. Has been a partner in the practice since 1984. He has a particular interest in Mental Health and Child Health. He is a member of the Local Medical Committee providing support for GPs with stress and mental health problems. When not at work he can often be found on stage at Sterts Theatre or scuba diving off the Cornish coast.
Dr Graham Toms (m) MB, BS (1984) MRCGP
Qualified from University College London in 1984. He is now working on a part time basis. He also works as an occasional expedition doctor on trips abroad.
Dr Emma Mantle (f) MB, ChB (1995)
Qualified from Bristol University in 1995. She currently works on Mondays and Thursdays. Works at Pensilva Surgery ad hoc days.
Dr Chris Gilbert (m) MB, BS (1997) MRCGP
Qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1997. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice. He currently works four days a week.
Dr Ben Basterfield (m) MB, chB (2000) MRCP MRCGP
Qualified from University of Birmingham in 2000. Enjoys all aspects of general practice with interests in elderly care medicine and palliative care.
Dr David Morris (m) MB BS (2013)
Qualified from University of Nottingham in 2013. Dr Morris is interested in all aspects of General Practice and works four days a week. He enjoys being out on Dartmoor with his dog.
Dr Sean Hawkey (m) MBChB (2016) MRCGP
Qualified from the University of Dundee in 2016. Dr Hawkey is interested in all areas of General Practice and currently works five days a week.
Dr Kate Northridge (f) MB BS, (2009) MRCGP DRCOG
Qualified from Peninsula Medical School in 2009. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, and works three days a week.

Dr Smitesh Patel (m) MBBS (2006), MRCS (Lond.), RCGP
Dr Patel qualified from University College London Medical School in 2006. He has recently moved to Cornwall after working in Essex as a GP and Clinical Director for the last 10 years. His initial training was in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. Within Primary Care he has a specialist interest in joint injections, minor surgery and acute/emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys reading autobiographies of popular culture icons, walking, cycling, swimming and watching his children play rugby.
Dr Hannah Szor BSc (Hons), MBChB (2015), MRCGP
Qualified from Keele University Medical school in 2015. After completing part of her general practice training at Oak Tree Surgery she has returned to the practice as a qualified GP. Works Tuesdays and Fridays and interested in all aspects of general practice.
